The future of NYCHAPS promises to be full of exciting new programs and projects. Although we accepted the resignation of Mike Lintal as Executive Director in April, we look forward to a new director taking the reins. We thank Mike for his visionary and progressive direction during his tenure. Under his leadership, we increased membership, attracted major donations, added new events to our annual lineup, and increased the visibility of NYCHAPS, particularly with the new website and 2017 Farm Show display. Thanks again, Mike!

New and continuing projects include a proposed addition to the Dill’s barn that will contain our archaeological relics display, a proposed land development plan for the new plantation property, a strengthened commitment to the Dillsburg Farmer’s Market, development of the proposed access to the property from Route 15, and a number of new events at both Maple Shade Barn and the Dill’s Tavern.

Become active in our living history — make Dillsburg’s history come alive with NYCHAPS!
