Join us on August 26 from 4-9 pm to celebrate all things cherry during our 2nd Annual Cherry Bounce Festival held at Dills Tavern. There is no admission fee for this festival, however there are two special opportunities for Cherry Bounce Tasting!

Those looking to taste the offerings of amateur bouncers as they vie for your vote: People’s Choice, Best Bounce 2023, may do so by purchasing tickets at the door the day of the event. The cost is $10.00. Must be 21 to take part in the contest and tasting.

A special tasting experience with our own Murray Small. This in-depth tasting will explore the taste profiles of a variety of spirits used to make Cherry Bounce. The cost is $10.00 and limited to 200 tickets. You may purchasing tickets either online or at the door the day of the event. Must be 21 to take part in the tasting.

Contestants desiring to enter a Cherry Bounce into the competition must contact Murray Small at 717-880-5063 OR This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by August 11th. A minimum of two 750 ml bottles of the same recipe needed to be entered. A minimum of three 750 ml bottles of the same recipe is needed to be entered.

Judging criteria will be based on: Color, Clarity, Complexity, Consistency and Conclusion.

This event, in support of the Eichelberger Distillery at Dills Tavern, will include live music, hands-on activities such as tomahawk throwing and log sawing, and historic demonstrations throughout the site. Cherry themed food, additional snacks, and bottled Cherry Bounce may be purchased during the event.
