Join us for freshly roasted sausage, honey pairings, honeybee arts products, and apiculture education, plus live music and passionate local vendors on Saturday, June 13, 2020, from noon to 5 pm. Admission to the event is free, with donations gratefully accepted. We are encouraging families to show up early, set up a picnic blanket, and stay all day for the food, festivities, arts and produce. This event is a community festival for all ages interested in our sustainable heritage, a summer celebration at the intersection of agriculture and apiculture designed to enrich our minds and pallets with a collective understanding of how bees support nearly a third of our food chain.
The Northern York County Historical and Preservation Society (NYCHAPS) strives to inspire by connecting the lessons of the past to the challenges of today. Through hands-on experience, the past culture of the area is brought to life in a deeper and richer educational experience. Through preservation, research, and our collections, NYCHAPS seeks to inspire a different way of learning history.
