We’re sad to make this announcement but Celtic Festival 2020 has officially been canceled for this year. Please read the details regarding Covid-19’s role, ticket refunds, and more below. And be sure to make your calendars for 2021!
As you all are aware, we are in the midst of a challenging health crisis. As a result of recent recommendations from the both the PA Department of Health and the CDC “that for the next 8 weeks, organizers cancel or postpone in-person events that consist of 50 people or more throughout the United States” we feel we have no other choice than to cancel our 2020 Dills Celtic Festival.
Please know this decision was made with careful consideration and while we are deeply disappointed, we do feel it is important to the health & safety of our performers, audience, volunteers, and staff that we honor this recommendation.
On behalf of NYCHAPS and DABA, we want you to know we appreciate your support and thank you for your interest in this year’s event. We hope to see you at the 2021 Dills Celtic Festival, April 17, 2021.
CDC recommends canceling events with 50 or more people for the next eight weeks throughout US – Interim Guidance for COVID-19 https://www.cdc.gov/…/mass-gatherings-ready-for-covid-19.ht…
Large events and mass gatherings can contribute to the spread of COVID-19 in the United States via travelers who attend these events and introduce the virus to new communities. Examples of large events and mass gatherings include conferences, festivals, parades, concerts, sporting events, weddings, and other types of assemblies. These events can be planned not only by organizations and communities but also by individuals.

If you have already purchased tickets for this event, please bear with us as we work with Brown Paper Tickets to process refunds. You will see more updates on this process shortly.
The Wolf Administration strongly encourages the suspension of large gatherings, events, conferences of more than 10 people, and per White House guidelines, ask that individuals and groups cancel any gatherings planned over the next eight weeks.
