Soak in the history of distilling with local folks who make their own beer on September 8th. Enjoy beer-making demonstrations, live music, hand-rolled cigars, craft beer, and fresh food, all amongst the scenery of Historic Dill’s Tavern. This year we will feature a special Jacobite living history encampment on the tavern grounds. Our live music for the afternoon will be Kent Courtney from noon to 2pm, and Daisy Cutter from 2 to 5pm. Guests must be 21 or older. Entry is a $20 donation to the Northern York County Historical and Preservation Society (NYCHAPS). Any home brewer who would like to register to bring beer for tastings, please email Christine Demas at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 717-502-1440.
The Northern York County Historical and Preservation Society (NYCHAPS) strives to inspire by connecting the lessons of the past to the challenges of today. Through hands-on experience, the past culture of the area is brought to life in a deeper and richer educational experience. Through preservation, research, and our collections, NYCHAPS seeks to inspire a different way of learning history.
