Maple Tree Tapping and Syrup Boil

Learn how to tap trees for sap and boil it down for fresh maple syrup. Throughout February and March, NYCHAPS will be tapping maple trees in the Northern York County region. The tree tapping will be followed by a syrup boil at Dill’s Tavern on Saturday, March 11th, 2017.

Quilting Thursdays at Maple Shade Barn

The NYCHAPS Fiber Arts Committee hosts Thursday quilting sessions at Maple Shade Barn from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. These are open sessions to work on personal items and contribute to group quilts. New quilters are always welcome.

Pancake and Sausage Breakfast

Join us for fresh maple syrup, pancakes, and sausage at a breakfast where we showcase the amber bounty harvested by the volunteers of this year’s Maple Tree Tapping and Syrup Boil on Saturday, March 18th, 2017. Admission is $7 for adults and $4.50 for children 5 to 12 years.
